MAKASSAR: PT Semen Bosowa next year plans to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) of its 20% shares.
Founder of Bosowa Corporation Aksa Mahmud said the initial public offering of PT Semen Bosowa shares to the public, will be conducted in line with the increase of cement production capacity within next year.
the increase of Bosowa’s cement production capacity, as Aksa said, is one of the company's business plan for next year. Bosowa will add production capacity to1.6 million tons from 2 million tons in this year.
"So next year's production capacity will be 3.6 million tons," said Aksa.
In fact, he hopes, total production capacity of Semen Bosowa will reach 5 million tons in 2012. Of which 1.4 million tons of cement will be produce from Semen Bosowa plant in Batam.
Meanwhile, related to the IPO next year Aksa said he has already done some preparatories. Including preparing the underwriters for the corporate action.(t03/wiw)
